Story Synopsis

1900 -St Lucifer’s Island off the Cornish Coast: The island contains a lunatic asylum which is home to a mix of the insane and the criminal. It is run by a devout order of monks who believe that severe punishment is the only cure for the sin of madness. There is a legend that a portal to Hell exists beneath the island.
A storm strikes the island and a group of inmates led by Catherine, a young aristocratic woman who was incarcerated after having a child out of wedlock, hold a séance in an attempt to summon the Devil to rescue them from the cruelties of the monks.
Present Day: The ruins of the asylum have been abandoned and the island is now only visited by ‘Ghost Tours’ exploring its macabre history. A tech billionaire (Leo Hunter) and his daughter (Nicole) join one of the tours. Leo is convinced he sees the spirit of his dead wife (Laura) during the tour.
Leo assembles a team to stay on the island overnight in the hope of making contact with his wife.
