Strangers and Neighbours
A lockdown drama. Six individuals who live in the same block of flats but have never met create an online support group for people struggling with living in isolation. They post video diaries over the course of the first six weeks of the lockdown, sharing their experiences and documenting the emotional and psychological affect the Corona Crisis has upon them.
through a dark mirror
A psychological crime thriller. Chapter 7 of 'The Heroes' October 1992: Six otherwise healthy men all die of unknown causes at exactly the same time but in different locations. The only link between their deaths is that they each paid £50,000 into the bank account of the mysterious Bryan Tyler the day before they died. He is arrested and taken in for questioning. The entire story takes place within the claustrophobic confines of the police secure unit where Tyler is interrogated by the brutish and increasingly violent, DCI Dawson and the manipulative criminal psychologist, Dr Catherine Rhodes. Also present are the gun obsessed, Officer Gore and the fifteen-year-old work experience student, Lincoln. As the interrogation progresses it soon becomes apparent that Tyler had an ulterior motive for the murders – a motive which involves one of the interrogation team. A complex game of psychological cat and mouse ensues.
A diabolical drama. Twenty years from now Britain has become a totalitarian state. After an attempt on his life, Mr Castlin, a powerful crime-lord wakes up in a mysterious hotel. The Concierge escorts him to the bar where he encounters the Devil and he is forced to justify the violent choices of his life and ultimately bargain for his soul.
The Horror, The Horror
A metaphysical horror-comedy. A dark night in a dark forest and five teenage friends are relentlessly pursued by a crazed axeman. He claims his first victim in a bloodied frenzy. The remaining survivors have to find a way of staying alive - they can either flee to the safety of the abandoned cottage or they can admit that their predicament is far more dangerous and bizarre than they could ever have believed.
