Story Synopsis
__
A seller of rare books is visited by an archaeologist who has discovered an ancient manuscript hidden in a cave on the Greek island of Salamis.
The manuscript proves to have been written by the Greek tragedian, Euripides while he was living in self-imposed exile.
It relates how he was visited by Medea who told him the story her tragic youth, and describes how the great love between her and Jason ended in the most terrible of crimes.
