LAST NIGHT I DREAMT vert.jpg

After the sudden death of his parents, a solitary man finds himself with an unexpected inheritance, no obligations, and no clear reason to continue living the life he once knew.

Then he begins to dream.

Each night he walks through an unfamiliar world beside a silent man who wears his face. Beyond towering walls lie impossible kingdoms, unsettling strangers, and a growing sense that the dream is unfolding according to its own mysterious logic.

Each morning he wakes carrying fragments of another life that refuse to fade.

At the same time, an inexplicable burst of inspiration compels him to write a screenplay unlike anything he has attempted before. As the story develops, the boundaries between imagination, memory and reality begin to dissolve.

Coincidences become impossible to ignore. Dreams continue where they left off. Strange people appear. And questions with no obvious answers begin to shape his waking life.

Quietly hypnotic and profoundly unsettling, Last Night I Dreamt is a novel about grief, creativity, loneliness and the hidden landscapes of the mind. It explores the invisible worlds that exist beneath ordinary life, and asks whether our dreams are simply reflections of ourselves—or doors waiting to be opened.

I  realise that I cast no shadow. I leave no footprints and I have no shadow. It is as though I do not truly exist in this strange world.

I tell you, we are in a Hell of our own making. We are living in Orwell’s worst nightmare and Stalin’s wet dream.
